FAVORITE BLOG LAYOUTS
Do you swoon over blog layouts like I do? There are some really amazing ones out there. They might be spooky, cartoonish, subtle, girlie, loud, dark, or something else entirely.
Here are a few of my favorites.
My blog started out with a pretty wild spring theme that I downloaded from a free blog layout site. It was pretty with lots of flowers, but it was a little loud for my liking. What I really wanted was something relaxing. A few months ago, Nicole from Word for Teens worked her magic and created my current layout. If it doesn’t relax you, I don’t know what will.
I would love to hear the story of your blog’s layout. Do you have any favorites you would like to share?

ReplyDeletePersonally I wanted to go for less busy and I know a fantastic artist who was happy to create my header and button for me (and she's working on a Twitter page!) I aimed for a color that was soothing on the eyes and relaxing, much like you did.

As for my layout, I just used the built in template offered by Blogger. Yay for easy HTML!

ReplyDeleteI really do not apreciatte my layout... it's just a free one that a got on web. In my next vacation (in december), I'll try to find a more apropriate one ^^
I hired a web designer to do mine. Best investment ever. I really do love your header!

ReplyDeleteYou are fabulous! Thank you so so much! I actually had my dad put mine together initially, because he designs websites and hired a real illustrator to design the background. It was really really fun!

ReplyDeleteWe hired a webdesigner. The design was our idea, but she made it beautiful and coded it for us. Also, I have an online friend who is a graphic artist, so we hired her to draw our girl.
